the people who mean the most

I love everyone in the way the Bible says we should
I don't posess hate in my heart
It would be nice if everyone could
And maybe then wars would never start

Unfortunately this is not the case
But the people that mean the most ease my mind
And they cause the space
Around my heart to unwind

I think I'm going to start with mommy and daddy
Who love me endlessly
Even when I'm being catty
And treating them senselessly

Forever I treasure them and what they taught me
I love them more than words could explain
From when they kiss me good night softly
And when they help me through pain

I Love my family as a whole
With all of our ups and downs
They mean more to me than gold
Where ever we are gathered, an abundance of joy is found

Then I have my bff, best friend forever
She feels what I feel from hundreds of mile away
She is with me in every endeavor
She loves me i love her our friendship will never fade

Following her is one of the greatest guys I know
He is my hunnybee and my best male friend
He makes me laugh when my days get slow
He will be a part of me until the end

My forbidden fruit comes next
I haven't known him for really long
But i love him nonetheless
He's like my favorite song

More than a lot of things in this lifetime
I love my play brother and sisters a plenty
Their hearts are one of a kind
If they needed it, I would give them my last penny

These are the people who mean the most
Their hearts shine from coast to coast
