The hurricane

The hurricane really scared everyone. I thought the power was gonna go out in my hometown, Brandon, MS. However, it didnt so we all just ate because it was labor day. We had an assortment of barbecue as well as desserts. I was going to cook but I didn't. It was raining really hard so I was unable to go get groceries. I also got to see one of my best guy friends. Visiting with friends always makes me happy. Family is important too. We had family from New Orleans staying at my grandmother's house and we all had fun. I met family that I didn't know I had. We stayed up watching the BET Awards. I came back to my Grandma's house Tuesday because family was there. We all ate and talked and prayed. I got on the road at about 5 that evening on the way back to school and got back and about 6:30. I did some homework. Then I got my stuff ready for the next day.
